Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Moscow is considering removing the Taliban from its list of extremist groups.
Putin said Afghanistan should receive economic aid and all its frozen assets should be released because stability in the country is in the interest of all its neighbors.
Putin also said that in order to return the situation in Afghanistan to normal, the country’s economy must be rebuilt.
He said that the participation of Russia, China and SCO member states in this process is of special importance.
According to him, the main culprits in the current situation in Afghanistan are the NATO-led insurgents in the country for the past three years.
