The former head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) says the US defeat in Afghanistan has severely damaged the country.
Speaking in the British Parliament, David Petraeus said that the defeat of the United States in Afghanistan and the impact of the 20-year presence at zero has damaged the credibility of the United States in the international arena and has discredited the country.
He added that Britain could no longer trust the United States, one of its allies.
